WordPress maintenance plans your agency can resell under its own name
Your clients want someone to keep their sites updated, backed up and online. You want the recurring revenue without the 2 am phone call. We run the plans; you put your logo on the report.
Every update goes through staging before it touches production. Every site gets daily backups, uptime monitoring and a human who answers in your time zone within 30 minutes.
Tell us how many sites and what kind. Rate card in USD within one business day.
Why maintenance is the plan agencies sell and regret
It looks like free money: $99 a month per site, a plugin that updates everything automatically, done. Then a WooCommerce update breaks checkout on a Friday night. Then a client's site gets hacked and the "backup" turns out to be from four months ago. Then your project manager spends Monday morning on a site you built in 2021 for a client who pays $99.
Maintenance is not a plugin. It is somebody looking at the site before and after every change, and being there when something breaks anyway.
We have been doing that since 2012, for newspapers with two caching layers, for stores doing six figures a month, for sites nobody had touched in years. We do it for agencies the same way, with your brand on the front.
What is in every plan, whatever the tier
Updates tested on staging first
Core, themes and plugins updated on a staging copy, checked, then pushed to production. Not auto-updated and prayed over.
Daily off-site backups
Stored away from the site's hosting, retained 30 days, tested restores every quarter.
Uptime monitoring, 24/7
One-minute checks. When a site goes down we know before your client does.
Security hardening and malware scanning
Firewall rules, login protection, file-integrity monitoring, scheduled scans.
Performance check every month
Core Web Vitals, page weight, cache health. Regressions flagged, fixed within the plan where possible.
Monthly report, white-labeled
What was updated, what was blocked, uptime, backups, security events, performance. Your logo, your colors, sent to you or directly to your client under your name.
A human on Central Time
Mon–Fri 8 am–8 pm, reply within 30 minutes. Emergencies on weekends through the same channels.
Before we reply, we have looked
When you report a problem, our first message already says what we see on the site, not "can you send a screenshot".
Three tiers, one invoice for the whole portfolio
Essential

- Everything in section 03
- Monthly update cadence
- Daily backups
- 30 min of task time per month
- Staging environment set up and kept
- Hack cleanup billed separately
- Emergency response: next business day
Business
Corporate, membership, multilingual, lead-gen with integrations
- Everything in Essential
- Twice-a-month updates
- Daily backups + before every change
- 2 hours of task time per month
- One hack cleanup per year included
- Same-day emergency response
Commerce
WooCommerce and any site where downtime costs money
- Everything in Business
- Weekly updates + security patches within 24 h
- Daily + before every change + hourly database backups
- 4 hours of task time per month
- Checkout tested after every update
- Hack cleanup included
- Emergency response: within 1 hour, 7 days
Included task time covers content changes, small fixes, plugin configuration, anything your client would ask for in an email. Unused time does not roll over; extra time is billed by the hour at the agency rate.
Pricing for a portfolio
Agencies do not buy one site. The per-site price drops with the number of sites under the plan:
- 5–9 sites: [X]% off the per-site rate
- 10–24 sites: [X]% off
- 25+ sites: custom rate card and a dedicated point of contact
Sites can be on different tiers. The discount applies to the total count. Add or remove sites month to month; no annual lock-in.
How a site comes into the plan
Technical assessment per site
Before we take responsibility for a site we look at it: hosting, PHP version, theme, plugins and their licenses, admins, integrations, backup situation, obvious risks. The assessment has a fee of $[X] USD per site, credited against the first month. For portfolios of 10+ sites, we assess in batches at a reduced rate.
Findings and tier
You get a one-page summary per site: what is fine, what needs fixing before we can maintain it, which tier it belongs in. No surprises after you have quoted your client.
Cleanup if needed
Sites that arrive with abandoned plugins, nulled themes or no staging get fixed first, as a one-time project. We do not put a site on a plan and hope.
Staging, backups, monitoring
Set up on day one. If the host does not allow a proper staging environment, we tell you, and we tell you where it would.
First report
Thirty days later, your client gets their first white-labeled report. From then on, monthly.
What we require, and why
We say no to some sites, or we fix them first. Not to be difficult; because a plan is a promise, and we only promise what we can keep.
Licensed premium plugins and themes
No nulled software. A nulled theme is a backdoor with a nice design; we will not maintain it and we will tell you why in writing so you can tell your client.
A staging environment
We set it up if there is none. If the hosting cannot run one, the site needs better hosting before it needs maintenance.
Hosting that is not working against us
We maintain sites on almost any host. We do not maintain sites on hosts that block SSH/WP-CLI, run end-of-life PHP or limit processes so tightly that a backup kills the site. We will say so in the assessment.
Known admins
Every admin account accounted for. Unknown admins are removed before day one.
Honest risk pricing
A 45-plugin site with three page builders is not an Essential site, even if it is a brochure. The tier follows the risk, not the client's budget.
What the plan is not
Redesigns, new features, new pages beyond the included task time
Those are white-label development projects, quoted separately.
Content writing, SEO campaigns, ad management
Not our lane. We keep the site running; you (or another partner) grow it.
Hosting itself
We can recommend, migrate and manage, but the hosting contract is yours or your client's.
Fixing a site that was hacked before it came into the plan
That is a cleanup project first. See emergency support.
Third-party service outages
Payment gateways, CDNs, the host itself. We monitor, we escalate, we keep your client informed, but we cannot fix what we do not run.
White label, in practice
Why a team in Mexico matters more in maintenance than anywhere else
Development can wait until tomorrow. A site that is down cannot.
Mexico City is Central Time. When a store in Houston stops processing cards at 4 pm, we are at our desks. When a client in New York emails at 8 am about a broken form, we have been working for an hour. Offshore teams are good at many things; being awake when your client's site breaks is not one of them.
Add fluent English, USD invoicing with W-8BEN, and fourteen years of inheriting other people's WordPress builds. We know where sites break because we have fixed them.
Proof
Daily operation under plan.
Staging for every change, checkout tested after every update, payment and shipping integrations monitored.
30 plugins down to 7. One cache layer.
Took over a site with 30 plugins and two caching layers fighting each other. Now 7 plugins, one cache, media off the server, under plan.
Same sector, both clients, nothing shared.
Possible because each site is isolated and each plan is its own. Confidential by contract.

FAQ
Yes. Our rate card is yours. Most agencies mark up 50–100% and still land below US-based care plans.
You, unless you decide otherwise. Some agencies forward a support address to us and we answer under their name; others keep us invisible and relay. Both work.
Anything your client would ask by email: text changes, image swaps, a new form field, plugin settings, a small layout fix. Not new features or new pages.
Monitoring alerts us within a minute. We restore from backup or fix the cause, then tell you what happened. Response time follows the tier: next business day, same day, or within one hour seven days a week.
Commerce plans include cleanup. Business plans include one per year. Essential plans are billed per cleanup. In every case we preserve evidence before cleaning, in case your client needs it for a legal or insurance claim.
No. We maintain on almost any host. We will tell you in the assessment if the host is the problem.
Because we look at every site before we take responsibility for it, and that takes real hours. It is credited against the first month, so for sites that come in it costs nothing extra.
Yes, monthly. A brochure site that adds a store moves to Commerce; a store that closes moves down.
No. Month to month. Most agencies stay because the alternative is doing it themselves.
One monthly USD invoice for the whole portfolio. PayPal, Stripe or wire. W-8BEN on file.
You sell the plan. We do the work.
You keep the client, the margin and the credit. We do the updates on staging, the backups, the monitoring, the fixing, and the report with your logo on it.
