MexicoWordPress is a WordPress-only team based in Mexico City. We started in 2012 as three people out of a university program and we have stayed small on purpose: senior people, no bench, no juniors learning on client sites. We build, maintain and rescue WordPress and WooCommerce sites for companies and agencies in Mexico, the United States and Spain.

Five things that do not change from client to client
We look before we answer
When you write to us, our first reply already includes what we saw on your site. It is how we have worked since the beginning, and it is why the first conversation is short.
Nothing touches production untested
Every update and every deployment goes through staging. If a site has no staging environment, that is the first thing we fix.
We say no in writing
Nulled themes, hosting that cannot carry the site, "just make it work for now" on a store processing payments. When we decline, you get the reason on paper so you can take it to whoever you hire instead.
Your access stays yours
Domain, hosting, credentials, backups and reports belong to you or your client, from day one. We have taken over too many sites held hostage by a former developer to do it any other way.
Fewer moving parts
We have brought sites from 30 plugins down to 7 and from two fighting caching layers down to one. We build the way we would want to maintain.
Manuel Macedo, director
Manuel is an attorney and a WordPress engineer. He has run his own companies since the late 1990s, from an internet service provider to a real-estate firm, and has been building and ranking websites since 2012.
He is the person who reads your NDA, signs the IP assignment, and writes the incident report when a site is hacked. He still looks at every site that comes in.

We work from Mexico City and remotely across Mexico. Central Time, UTC-6, no daylight saving: the same working day as Texas, one hour behind New York, two ahead of California. Business hours Mon–Fri 8 am–8 pm CT; emergencies answered on weekends.
Invoicing in USD with W-8BEN for US clients, in MXN with CFDI for Mexican clients.
Same day as Dallas and Chicago. One hour behind New York. Two hours ahead of Los Angeles. No overnight hand-offs.
Monday to Friday, Central Time. Emergencies on weekends via WhatsApp for sites under maintenance.
